How to Create a Quick View

Quick Views are often used by dispatchers to quickly search the Tracking view for order(s) containing specific criteria. Using the Advanced Search feature available in the Tracking view of the OnTime Management Suite or OnTime Dispatch you can search virtually any field on your orders. Once a search has been completed, your search criteria and column arrangement can be saved as a Quick View so it can easily be repeated in the future.
  1. Open the Tracking view of the OnTime Management Suite or OnTime Dispatch.
  2. Click on the button or link labeled Advanced Search. A filter row will appear across the top of the Tracking view.
  3. Enter the values for which you would like to search in the corresponding columns. As values are entered into the filter bar, the results in the Tracking view will automatically reflect your search. For more sophisticated searches, click the button labeled Advanced Filter in the Tracking tab at the top.
  4. You may also choose to customize the layout of the columns, such as column visibility, grouping, and sorting.
  5. Select the Save as Quick View button in the Tracking tab at the top.
  6. Click OK to save the Quick View, which will appear on the left side under the Quick Views section. When selecting a Quick View, the search criteria, as well as the grid layout, will be restored.
