How to Add an Additional Stop to an Order

OnTime's additional stop feature is used to handle deliveries with multiple stops. The additional stop feature will allow you to submit multiple orders with the same tracking number. Each time an additional stop is created, a single digit will be added to the tracking number of the first stop. For example, if the first stop's tracking number is 0001, additional stops would have the tracking numbers 0001-10001-2, and so on. To create additional stops on an order, follow these steps:
  1. Open OnTime Dispatch and start a new order in Order Entry.
  2. Select a Customer, and assign a Collection and Delivery location.
  3. Click on the Additional Stop button that is now available in the Orders tab at the top of your screen.
  4. A new order form will appear for the additional stop you are creating.
  5. Complete and submit the order entry form with data particular to that stop or segment of the delivery.
