How to Setup a User Identity for the Route Scheduler

Every order entered into OnTime can be attributed to a user. Doing so makes it clear which user entered an order.  When orders are entered automatically by the OnTime Route Scheduler, these orders can also be attributed to a "user." The can be configured by following these steps:
  1. Click the General Options button in OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Select the Routes tab.
  3. Under the Route Stop Scheduler section, look for Set scheduled orders as submitted by and select a user from the list.
Tip: Some have found that creating a user with the name "Route Scheduler" is a practical way to keep order information well organized for tracking and record-keeping purposes.
