How to Allow Users to Manually Set the Billing Status

By default, OnTime does not allow users to manually set an order's billing status. The billing status is typically set automatically when an order is added to an invoice.
To allow billing statuses to be manually set, follow these steps:
  1. Open OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Choose General Options from the Home tab.
  3. Navigate to the Billing section of the General Options.
  4. Enter a checkmark into the box next to Allow users to manually change the billing status of an order.
After enabling the option above, users can make use of the Mark as Billed function by following these steps:
  1. Open the Billing view within OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Select the Unbilled Orders view within the navigation pane on the left side.
  3. Right-click on the desired order(s) and choose Mark as billed.
  4. You can also perform this action on all orders within a billing cycle by selecting the Billing Cycles view, right-clicking on a billing cycle, and choosing Mark as Billed.
