How to Set the Archive Date

Older data in an OnTime account may be archived by setting the account's archive date. Once set, only common data created from the archive date forward will be displayed. Older data will not be synchronized or displayed.
To set an account's archive date, follow these steps:
  1. Open OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Under the Data tab, click the Archive Settings button.
  3. Set the desired archive date.
Warning: Changing the archive date will prompt all users of OnTime desktop applications to either resynchronize their copy of the data or rebuild their data file. This process could take 20 to 60 minutes to complete if the account contains much data. We do not recommend changing the archive date during hours of business operation as it can cause delays and downtime.
