How to Connect OnTime with a Specific QuickBooks Company File

By default, OnTime uses the company file that is currently open in QuickBooks. To choose a different QuickBooks company file, follow these steps:
  1. Open OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Click General Options > Connections.
  3. Select the option labeled Use a specific company file.
  4. Click Browse to locate the desired QuickBooks company file (*.QBW).
  5. Use the button labeled Test Connection to QuickBooks to ensure that OnTime can connect to the company file you have selected.
