How to Create a Charge Based on Quantity

OnTime makes it easy to set up price calculations that involve charging based on the number of units (or quantity). Follow these steps to create a price modifier that charges incrementally based on quantity:
  1. Open Prices view of OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Ensure that the Price Modifiers view is selected.
  3. Click the button labeled New Price Modifier from the top left.
  4. Enter a Name to identify the price modifier.
  5. Set the Calculation Type to Incremental Overage Amount.
  6. Specify the Increment at which the value is applied. For example, an increment of "1" would apply the charge for every unit in the Field, whereas "10" would apply the charge for every 10 units.
  7. Set the Field to Quantity.
  8. Enter the amount to charge per increment into the Amount field.
