How to Create a Charge that is Based on Weight

OnTime makes it easy to set up price calculations that involve charging based on weight. Follow these steps to create a price modifier that charges incrementally based on weight:
  1. Open Prices view of OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Ensure that the Price Modifiers view is selected.
  3. Click the button labeled New Price Modifier from the top left.
  4. Enter a Name to identify the price modifier.
  5. Set the Calculation Type to Incremental Overage Amount.
  6. Specify the Increment at which the value is applied. For example, an increment of "1" would apply the charge for every unit of weight in the Field, whereas "10" would apply the charge for every 10 units.
  7. Set the Field to Weight.
  8. Enter the amount to charge per increment into the Amount field.
