How to Use Your Own Mail Server for Messaging

The OnTime mail server will automatically ensure messages are sent out; however, the sender's address may appear as notify@ontimesystem.net. To gain further control over messages and to customize the sender’s address, use your own mail server by following these steps:
  1. Open the OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Click on File.
  3. Click on General Options.
  4. Click on Connections.
  5. Under Email Server, switch your mail server by clicking Use other mail server.
Note: OnTime cannot provide support for problems encountered when using your own mail server. We may ask you to switch back to the OnTime Mail Server to resolve mail server-related issues.
