How to View Driver Position History

Alongside OnTime's live driver position (GPS) tracking features, we offer the ability to view where drivers have traveled in the past. Driver position history (sometimes called a breadcrumb trail) is helpful when reviewing driver activity. It can be used to determine where a driver was located during a specific timeframe. This feature can also be used to playback travel on a map during a specific time period. To access driver position history, follow these steps:

In the Driver Position History window, driver GPS activity is grouped in hourly intervals within the Activity by hour list located on the right side. A driver’s position is represented by the truck icon displayed on the map. The red pins that are displayed represent each time a driver’s position was recorded by OnTime Mobile. Animated playback of a driver’s activity can be controlled using the play and stop buttons located at the bottom of the window.
