QuickBooks Online: Duplicate Name Exists Error

This error may appear when OnTime tries to create a record in QuickBooks Online, where the name contains an invalid character. Unlike OnTime, QuickBooks Online does not allow some characters to be used when naming items. This difference can prevent records from transferring successfully between OnTime and QuickBooks Online.
For example, the following service level name will not transfer to QuickBooks Online because a colon (:) is an invalid character.
