How to Set a Customer's Default Invoice Template

Invoice templates control the appearance and content of an invoice. You may set the default invoice template for a customer by following these steps:
  1. Go to the Customers list in OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Open the customer’s record by double-clicking it in the list.
  3. Go to the Billing options.
  4. Click the drop-down list next to Default invoice template and select the desired template.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
Note: Once steps 1-5 are completed, OnTime will automatically apply the default invoice template to all new invoices created from that point forward. However, this feature will not change the selected template on invoices which were created before setting the Default invoice template option.
