How to Customize the Billing Email Template

When an invoice is emailed to a customer from the OnTime Management Suite, it is attached to an email as a PDF document. The content of the email can be customized by making changes to the billing email template.
To edit the billing email template, follow these steps:
  1. Open OnTime Management Suite.
  2. Select the Home tab and then choose General Options > Billing.
  3. Click the Email Template button.
  4. Enter the text you would like to appear in the Subject and Body of the email message.
  5. Use the Insert Special Field button to add dynamic content such as Customer Name, Contact Name, Report Date, and Invoice Number to your email template. Using the Adobe PDF Instructions special field will add directions for opening a PDF document.
  6. Click OK to save modifications made to the billing email template.
